Tree Sons Tree Service ("Tree Sons," "we," "us") is a family-owned tree service in Northborough, Massachusetts. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because that's how we do everything.

What we collect

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and property address when you request an estimate, call, or message us.
• Job information — the details you describe about your trees and property, your answers about access (driveways, slopes, obstacles), and the service you're asking about.
• Photos — pictures of your trees and property that you upload with an estimate request, including any markings you draw on them, and photos our crew takes while performing the work.
• Messages — chats sent through the website chat window, emails, and (once text messaging is available) text messages with us.
• Basic website data — standard technical information like browser type, needed to keep the site working and secure.

How we use it

• To prepare your free estimate — including using software tools (such as AI-assisted software) that help us draft an estimate from your photos and details for our review.
• To contact you about your request, schedule the work, and send you your estimate, contract, and invoice.
• To perform and document the work — before/after photos help us do the job right.
• To ask how we did after a job, including inviting you to leave a review.
• To keep honest business records (estimates, invoices, payments).

By submitting an estimate request, you agree that we may save your contact details, job information, and photos for these purposes.

What we never do

• We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
• We don't use your before/after photos in our marketing or social media without asking you first.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make our business run — such as our website hosting, our customer-management and messaging platform, our accounting/invoicing software, and the estimate-drafting software described above. They process your information on our behalf to serve you, nothing more.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your estimate, scheduling, and your job. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also just call us at (508) 216-0354.

How long we keep it

We keep job records (estimates, invoices, job photos) as long as we need them for business and legal record-keeping. If you'd like something removed sooner, ask us — see "Your choices" below.

How we protect it

Your information travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), is stored with reputable providers, and access is limited to the people who need it to do your job. No system is perfect, but we treat your information the way we treat your property — carefully.

Cookies & chat

Our website keeps things minimal. The chat window on our site is provided by our messaging platform and only processes what you type into it so we can reply to you.

Children

Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

• Ask us what information we have about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete your information (we may need to keep records the law requires, like invoices).
• Opt out of texts (reply STOP) or emails (use the unsubscribe link, or just tell us).
